OVARIAN CANCER

Ovarian cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the ovaries grow uncontrollably and may spread to other parts of the body. Symptoms can include persistent bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, feeling full quickly after eating, frequent urination, and changes in bowel habits. Because these symptoms can resemble other conditions, ovarian cancer may be difficult to detect in its early stages.

Although the exact cause is often unknown, certain factors, including age, family history, and inherited genetic changes, may increase the risk. Early recognition of symptoms and timely medical evaluation are important.
