1 min read

AuDHD describes the co-occurrence of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

(ADHD) in the same person. Individuals with AuDHD may experience differences in attention, sensory processing, communication, social interaction, executive functioning, and emotional regulation. Some may struggle with routines and focus while also needing structure and predictability.

Understanding AuDHD helps reduce misconceptions and encourages acceptance, accommodations, and individualized support. Every person experiences AuDHD differently, and recognizing their strengths and challenges can help create a more inclusive and supportive environment.
